Description
The route develops around Marymoor Park and the Sammamish River Trail; two spaces linked to recreation and non-motorized mobility. Marymoor Park is one of the major regional parks in King County, while the Sammamish River Trail is a paved route that runs through the river valley and connects to Marymoor.
The day offers a moderate walking pace, breaks for photographs and environmental observation activities. Participants will learn about the importance of green corridors, public recreation spaces and coastal landscape conservation.
The experience can be adapted to different profiles: quiet walk for adults, photo tour or family outing for older children. It is a technical hiking activity and does not require participants to have prior experience.

Itinerary
- Welcome, presentation of the route and recommendations to walk safely and respect the natural areas. At Marymoor Park. 6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
- Walk through the park. Tour of trails and open spaces, with breaks to appreciate the landscape and take photographs
- Sammamish River Trail. Walk along the river corridor to observe the landscape, recognize natural elements and learn about the use of trails for walking, running and cycling. Access from Marymoor Park.
- Rest and refreshment. Break in a permitted area of the park or previously coordinated meal. The exact location will depend on the rules in force and the needs of the group.
- Nature-connected activity. Responsible observation and photography, accompanied by a brief reflection on the care of green spaces and natural corridors.
